ALBUM PREMIERE: Lisburn's fuzzed out sludge trio So Much For The Sun deliver headcrushing self titled debut in Full

So much for the sun, an expression on the lips of many UK/Ireland residents at moment, amidst the bombardment of pissing wet rain during our supposed summer.  But what better way to escape the drudgery, forget your surroundings, forget the bullshit that life deals us and play some fucking crushing riffs and that is exactly what today’s SLUDGELORDdebutants deliver.

Hailing from Lisburn, Northern Ireland  So Much For The Sun create slow fuzzy sludged out riffs,  four words that warms the soul of any riff addict, yet this addiction is not chopped on a mirror, instead So Much For The Sun poison us with heavy grooves, violent growls with a side order of melody. Inspired by doom/sludge metal, their debut album "So Much For The Sun"  encompasses heavily down tuned guitars, slow heavy riffs and dark lyrics to create a sonic ball busting sludgeamadon (forgive me my son likes dinosaurs).

Recorded and mixed by Niall Doran at Start Together Studio, Belfast and with mastering duties covered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, "So Much For The Sun" is set for release on Saturday 12th August 2017, but today we are thrilled to be able to present this stellar album in full for your listening pleasure.  Preorders are available herefor measly £5 and you can check out the album below.  Remember, as a wise old man once said, “What doesn’t crush us, makes us chunder”. So turn the volume up and brace yourselves, ‘cause this one is indeed, a headcrusher.
